Report on the Preliminaries

About 90 teams turned up, hoping to finish in the top 15 and book a place in the Grand Finals of the Inter-School National Scrabble Championships 2009.

St Hilda's Pri sent in 8 teams, mostly new to competitive Scrabble. Nevertheless, the seniors have done us proud and Teams 2 and 3 have put up a strong performance and should be through to the Grand Finals with 14 and 15 wins apiece.

Results however, will only be made known in about 2 weeks' time. So cross your fingers!
