Welcome back to SHPS! A brand new year begins and we will have Scrabble as usual. However, take note of the changes to the day, time and venue.

When: Every Thursday, starting on 10th Jan 2012

Time: 1.45pm to 3.45pm

If you have received any medal/trophy from any of the competitions listed below, please BRING THEM to school on Thursday, 4th October, for a prize presentation in front of the whole school.

ISNSC Grand Finals 2012

The inaugural ISNSC concluded just now with the top 44 teams battling it out in the Grand Finals after over 150 teams took part in the preliminaries much earlier on.

Team S1 (Julina, George, Clarine, Gabriel, Shawn, Bethanie and Lucas) have qualified for the Senior Division, along with team J1 (Sanjith, Natasha, Jonathan, Noel, Sebastian, Gregory and Isaac). Isaac was not ablle to participate hence J1 was already at a disadvantage.

After 5 gruelling games, both our teams did extremely well!

Team J1 clinched 2nd place in the Cup Category!

Team S1 were champion of the Plate Category!

1. ISNSC Results
It will be made known in two weeks. For teams that qualify, the Grand Finals will be held on 31st May 2012. (That's the first Thursday of the June holidays. Mark it on your calendar now!)

Preliminary Round, Primary Schools Category
Saturday – 14 April 2012
Venue: Clementi Woods Secondary School

7.10 am: Report at SHPS Foyer
7.45 am – 8.10 am – Registration
8.10 am – 8.30 am – Welcome Address/Briefing
8.30 am – 9.30 am – Game # 1
9.30 am– 10.00 am – Submission of Results/Break
10.00 am – 11.00 am – Game # 2
11.00 am – 11.30 am – Submission of Results/Break
11.30 am – 12.30 pm – Game #3
12.30 pm – 1.00 pm – Submission of Results/End
1.45 pm : Back at SHPS
